The Collections for the Diocesan Association were made on Sunday, November 8th. That in the morning amounted to £14. 1s. 3d., and that in the afternoon to £6. 9s. 2d., making a total of £20. 10s. 5d.

Night school, which commenced on Tuesday, September 22nd, is held on the Tuesday and Thursday in each week. The attendance is generally 14 or 15.

A word as to the Day of Intercession, St. Andrew's Day. Could it not be made to some extent a Week of Intercession? This might be done in families or in private by the use of some special Prayer or Collect, during the week, for Missions. There are families in this Parish who have one or more relations in Africa, America, Asia, Australia. Are they supplied with the ministrations of the Church? If so, their friends at home have cause for thankfulness. If not, they should pray that these good things may be given them. But all of us have an interest in foreign countries, and those heathen ones. We obtain from them some common articles of food. Let us not forget that they are in want of a far higher food than that, which has been given to us freely.

ULEY cum OWLPEN.

The Architect has decided, we regret to say, that the Consecration of Owlpen Church must be put off, because, owing to the time of year, the work cannot dry in so short a time. No time can be fixed at present.

During Advent there will be (God willing) Prayers on Wednesdays at 3.30 p.m., and on Fridays at 11 a.m., and Service with a Lecture one Evening in the week at 7 o'clock.

St. Andrew's Day having been appointed for the Day of Special Intercession in behalf of Missions, an Evening Service was held on that day, at which the Special Service suggested by the Bishop was used. The usual Service in the morning was also adopted for the occasion. The Offertory at the Communion was given to the Missisonary Studentship Association for the Archdeaconry. This Association exists for the purpose of educating young men who are anxious to become Missionaries, and the Secretary, the Rev. C. C. Browne, will be glad at any time to receive Offertories or Donations towards its Funds.

The members of the Coal Club have now received Coal to the value of their payments and the Interest given. For the poor members of the Club the Coal was hauled free of all expense by the farmers of the parish, a most kind and valuable gift, which we take this opportunity of acknowledging. The Club this year consisted of 118 members, who contributed sums widely differing, but amounting in the whole to £88. Os. 3d. To this was added a bonus of 4 pence in the shilling up to 10 shillings, and 2 pence for every shilling after, which amounted to £23. 19s. 2d. All being well the Club will re-open next April.

The Clothing Club re-opened the first Monday in November. This year the two Clothing Clubs, the Sunday School Club and the Women's Club have been amalgamated, the payments being received weekly at the School, instead of separately, as formerly.

The Glee Club, which seems likely to be a great success, is preparing to give a Concert at Christmas time.
