Notwithstanding this Occultation of Venus by the Moon happens at Wellingbbrough about, or a little after Sun-rife, it probably may be difcerned by the naked Eye; as Venus's Elongation from the Sun is 43 29. For the Occultation of on the 16th of April, 1751. was obferved by a Telescope, when she was but 25° from the Sun, when it happened fo near Noon. Venus is frequently feen in the Day-time, efpecially when accompanied by the Moon, without the Help of Glaffes. N. B.
