E think it proper to acquaint our Readers, that the fame Neceffity which induc'd us to add an APPENDIX last Year, obliges us to add one to this Volume alfo. Our APPENDIX last Year contain'd Things of the utmost Importance, which could not be inferted in the Months, and were neceffary to be finish'd with the Year. The APPENDIX to this Volume contains Things of equal Importance, which could not otherwise be brought within the Year, to which they properly belong. We are so far from doing this for the Sake of any additional Profit, that we should be much better pleas'd if every thing that is neceffary could be inferted in the ordinary Numbers: But as this cannot poffibly be done, wẻ hope it will be efteem'd as one Inftance of our Accuracy, which we aim at thro' the whole Work, that we chuse |
