ROM Berlin, That the Margravine of Anfpach,whofe Confort is Brother to the Q. of Gr. Britain, was fafely deliver'd of a Prince. From Bruffels, That the French were preparing to make a handsome convenient Port of Graveling, fituate between Dunkirk and Calais.

From Milan, That the Court of Spain demands of the Emperor the Reftitution of Rocca-Gulielma in the Kingdom of Naples, which is reckon'd a Fund of 260,000 Crowns.

From Naples, That the little Territory of Cafa Nova in Calabria, was, by an Farthquake, funk 29 Feet into the Earth, without throwing down a Houfe. The Inhabitants being warn'd by a prodigious Noife in the Air, efcaped into the Fields, and only 5 Perfons were kill'd.

From Verfailles, That Monf. the Duke of Anjou, died there the 7th Inft. aged two Years, 7 Months, and 8 Days being Born August 30, 1730.

From Conftantinople, That a great Body of Turks, which were marching to fuccour Babylon, had been defeated by the Perfians, who afterwards made themfelves Masters of that great and populous City. "Tis added, that the late depofed Sultan Achmet had, within a few Months, loft four of his Children, viz. 2 Princes, and 2 Princelles, the Occafion of their Deaths being unknown.

From Paris, That the Card. de Fleury lately accofted the Queen after this manner; Madame, "The King your Confort is as defirous as your Majefiy to see the King your Father upon the Throne of Poland: He will fpare for nothing to bring it about: The Polanders can tell you, how many Millions France has already fcatter'd among them; and we have had Recourfe to all the Negotiations Policy fug. gated: We have even gone too far, for a Declaration of the King's has made all Europe tremble: People every where imagin'd they faw the four Quarters of i in Flames: But, Madame, the Affairs o France will not permit her to proceed farther: If Money and Perfuafion will not do, we cannot pretend to make ufe of

From Seville, That Don Jofeph Patinbo, Prime Minister to the K. of Spain, was in Difgrace.

From Vienna, That the Affairs in Difpute about Don Carlos are accommodated by Mediation of Great Britain.

From Brefcia, That the Master of a Band of Mufick belonging to the Cathedral of that City, died there, after a Life fo abftemious, that he had eaten nothing for 32 Years past but Herbs boil'd with a little Salt over a Lamp, having never once in that Time had any Fire. His dead Body being exposed to the View of the Populace, a Woman, who had been a long Time Lame in both her Hands, no fooner touch'd the Corpfe but she was immediately cur'd, and feveral others, many Years Blind. A Surgeon no fooner made an Incifion in the Body, but the Blood iffued in a Stream; which fo far confirm'd the Reputation of the New Saint, that if a Detachment of Soldiers had not been fent for to guard the Body, it had been pull'd to Pieces by the Populace out of pure Devotion for the Sake of the Relicts.

From Warfaw, That all the Lodgings in that City were taken up by French Gentlemen of Distinction. At an Entertainment the French Embaffador gave, he not only dealt out great Quantities of Victuals to the Pupulace, but made a confiderable Prefent to each of the Polif Lords invited.

From Parma, That Don Carlos meeting the Hoft as it was carried thro' the Citics to a poor Woman, he got out of his Coach, and accompany'd it on Foot to the Chamber where the fick Perfon lay, when having ador'd it, he retired, leaving a Purfe of Monéy upon the poor Woman's Table.

From Paris, That the Parliament has published an Arret, fuppreffing several Books, wherein the Conftitution Unigin tus is propofed as the Rule of Faith, and has ordered a Profecution to be commenced against two Parish Priests, for refufing the Sacrament to certain of their Parishioners on Account of their being Appellants from the faid Conftitution.

Cadiz, That 4 Sallee Rovers had put tto Sea, with Design to make Prize of all fChriftian Veffels they can mafter, withs out refpect to any Nation.

From Frankfort, That the Princess, only Daughter of the late Margrave of Bareith, who had for fome Time profeffed the Roman Catholick Religion, embraced the Proteftant Faith on Thursday in Easter Week, and received the Com munion the fame Day at Bareith, from the Hands of a Proteftant Minister.
