Brandenburg's new (7th) edition of Dahlmann-Waitz's Quellenkunde der Deutschen Geschichte (Leipzig, 1906), with unique completeness covers every part and every stage of the history of the Prussian State. Free use has been made of this indispensable work, as well as of the second edition of V. Loewe's Bücherkunde der Deutschen Geschichte (Berlin, 1905), in the revision and enlargement of the present bibliography, which has been compiled for its own limited purposes.
