DO not remember that ever I experienc'd the Power of Poetry fo ftrongly as in Mr Pope's Essay. What Author is there who is not loft in a Tranflation? And what Poet who is not mifreprefented in Profe? If any are to be excepted, Mr Pope is one of the first. We find in him one of the most judicious Remarks in Horace ex-actly verify'd.
