Here lyes interred the Body of of Heleigh in the County of Stafford. Her Ladyship was daughter to Henry Lord Arundell, of Wardour Castle, in the County of Wilts. She dyed June 24th 1743, aged 52. H. He died the 23rd and ELIZABETH WOOLLETT, Widow of the above On this Tomb were written with a pencil, the following lines, which are now defaced : "Here Woollett rests expecting to be sav'd, He graved well, but is not well engrav'd." It is not improbable that these lines gave rise to a noble subscription for erecting a monument in Westminster Abbey to Woollett's memory, and to which Benjamin West, P.R.A., and Alderman Boydell were liberal contributors. In the cloisters of Westminster Abbey will be found the following inscription upon the monument erected to his memory: "WILLIAM WOOLLETT Born Avgvst XXIInd MDCCXXXV Handing down to Posterity the works of painting, scvlpture, and architectvre : Whilst fame is distribvting them over the four Qvarters of the Globe. Parish of St. George, Queen Square. just in his dealings, firm in his Friendship, and liberal in his Charity. Here also lies the Body of ROBERT WESTBY Esq Aged 82 years Requiescant in pace Amen.
