Sweet Flower, cut off in early prime,
And torn from fondest arms,
Go sleep upon thy Saviour's breast,
Secure from future harms.
And when my aged span is run,

And all my cares are o'er,

May we in heavenly mansions meet,
Belov'd, to part no more.

Sacred

Mr. GEORGE Druitt,

Late of Camden Town in this Parish,

Departed this life 11th of August, 1826, aged 37 years
Alike the poor, the noble, and the fair,
Submit to death, by Heaven's decree;
Delay not then in life, for Heaven prepare,
That death to bliss may summon thee.

CHARLES GENEVIEVE LOUISE AUGUSTE ANDRE TIMOTHEE D'EON, DE BEAUMONT, died May 21, buried May 28, 1810, aged 83 years.*

*He was the son of an ancient family at Tonnerre, in Burgundy, where he was born October 2, 1728. He was educated under his father's roof, and at the age of thirteen was sent to the College Mazarin, at Paris. Having finished his studies, he was, introduced to Louis XV. by Prince de Conti, who presented him with a cornetcy of dragoons. Soon after this he received an appointment in the office of Monsieur Bertier de Savigny, Intendant of the Generalité of Paris. Having displayed considerable ability, he was rapidly raised to a position of distinction and received the Croix de St. Louis. Having been appointed Charge d'Affaires, and afterwards Minister Plenipotentiary to the British Court, he was not allowed to enjoy the distinction long, an unfortunate quarrel with Comte de Guerchy suspended his ministerial functions, and was the cause of his future misfortunes throughout his life. He died in Millman Street, at the south-east boundary of this parish.
