In Memory of

Mrs. T. SUTTON,

of this Parish,

Who Died Jany 14th, 1817,
Aged 57 years.

If firm affection, tenderness, and truth,
As wife, as mother, and as friend,

Claim praise, here, with the husband of her youth
And age, and sorrowing offspring, praise extend.
Grief has few words, affliction must be borne,
The Christian worships, tho' the man must mourn.

To the Memory of
Lieutenant JAMES DAVIS,

A Native of Llandudno in the County of Wales,
Who died on the 19th of August, 1827,

Aged 60.

In Memory of
Mrs. E. LINDSEY,

of Kentish Town,

Who died Jan. 7th, 1829, aged 39 years.

Here rests in hope, free from the cares of life,
A tender parent and a virtuous wife;
In all her pains her soul was quite resign'd,
And at her Maker's call, she ne'er repin'd;
In calm content, she bade the world adieu;
She had, through faith, a better state in view.

Soft be thy rest, no wailing voice shall come

There death is swallowed up in victory.
