The sixth apartment is

KING WILLIAM III.'S BEDROOM,

In which is the state-bed of Queen Charlotte.
The ceiling was painted by Verrio, and is
in good preservation; it is intended to
represent Night and Morning. The clock
which stands at the head of the bed, goes
twelve months without winding up, and
was made by Daniel Quare. Round the
room are the celebrated portraits of the
beauties of Charles the Second's Court-
